DECEMBER 4-12, 2026 IN LOS ANGELES

Los Angeles knows how to make light. A lot of light.
Ancient light. Neon city. Eight nights.

Some things shine brighter when we’re together.

NuRoots’ Hanukkah citywide festival Infinite Light returns December 4–12, bringing Jewish young adults together across Los Angeles for Hanukkah gatherings, new connections, and plenty of reasons to light up the night.

First Night: Shabbanukkah

Friday, December 4
7:30 PM – 10:30 PM

What if the darkest time of year was the brightest night in L.A.? This December, the first candle of Hanukkah and the arrival of Shabbat fall on the same Friday night. First Night: Shabbanukkah is an invitation to gather at the intersection of two kinds of light for a night of abundance, resilience, and the kind of community that makes a big city feel like a small world.

So come for the food, the music, and the glow. Come to celebrate, to connect, or simply to spend a Friday night somewhere that feels a little more like home. Come hungry. Come glowing. Bring a friend. There is a seat for you here.

Your Time

A few friends. A few flames. A little room for someone new.

Superhosting brings Infinite Light into homes across LA, with community members hosting their own Hanukkah Shabbat dinners. Make it cozy, make it colorful, make that recipe you’ve been meaning to try. You bring your own style—and help create a night people feel part of.

Gather your people, consider adding a few new faces, and make space for good food and conversation. NuRoots and OneTable will help you get started, with hosting guidance and information about available Nourishment+ support.
