Roots are the strength you can't see

NuRoots sparks relationships and experiences for young adults in our 20s and 30s, building vibrant community and reimagining Jewish expression.

As the young adult initiative of Jewish Federation Los Angeles, NuRoots is part of a broader vision to empower Jewish life: guided by values, fueled by innovation, and grounded in community partnerships.

We do this work with deep belief in the power of community and a multifaceted and inclusive approach to Jewish engagement, meeting you where you are and helping you discover where they want to go. We believe Jewish identity is complex and personal – and that community should reflect that. 

Through one-on-one coffees, gatherings, immersive experiences in Los Angeles and abroad, expansive partnerships, and multi-day citywide festivals, NuRoots is L.A.'s home for curiosity, creativity, and connection.
